Surface treatment process of precision metal stamping parts

After the precision hardware stamping parts are processed into finished products, certain methods need to be used to treat the surface of the precision hardware stamping parts, with the aim of improving product quality and endowing the surface of the precision hardware stamping parts with beautiful and corrosion-resistant effects. The commonly used surface treatment methods for precision metal stamping products generally include the following:

① Electroplating treatment: Immerse the electroplated parts in an aqueous solution containing the deposited metal compound, and use an electric current to pass through the plating solution, causing the electroplated metal to precipitate and deposit on the parts. Its function is to ensure that the workpiece does not undergo mold, rust, and corrosion resistance under long-term use.

② Anodizing: Using metal or alloy parts as anodes, an oxide film is formed on their surface by electrolysis. This thin film improves the surface condition and performance of the workpiece, such as enhancing corrosion resistance, insulation, enhancing wear resistance and hardness, which can better protect the metal surface.

③ Polishing processing: The use of flexible polishing tools and abrasive particles or other polishing media to modify the surface of a workpiece. It can make the surface of precision hardware stamping parts smooth and flat, without burrs, and reduce the surface roughness of stamping parts.

④ Surface quenching: refers to the heat treatment process of rapidly heating the surface of stamped parts within a certain depth range to the quenching temperature, then rapidly cooling to achieve the quenching purpose to a certain extent, thereby improving the surface hardness and meeting the requirements of wear resistance and impact resistance.
